Software Engineering Intern building and shipping AI-powered product features across a TypeScript, Node.js, and potentially Go stack. Responsibilities include developing automated chat, content generation, personalization, and moderation features; experimenting with LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases; using AI coding assistants; participating in code reviews and architecture discussions; collaborating with product and design; and presenting completed work. The role includes mentorship and requires strong engineering fundamentals, initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to iterate quickly.

Build and ship full-stack growth experiments across signup, onboarding, activation, referral, and retention flows. Own features from concept through implementation, measurement, and iteration. Develop growth loops, run A/B and multivariate tests, improve performance and reliability, analyze funnel metrics, and partner with Product, Design, Data, and Marketing to drive measurable outcomes.

Own financial operations and reporting, including month-end and quarter-end close, management accounts, cash flow forecasting, statutory reporting, VAT and HMRC compliance, audits, internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting. Maintain and optimize the finance technology stack while building scalable processes for a rapidly growing technology platform. Partner with leadership on margin improvement and finance projects such as R&D tax credit claims and system integrations.
