The Senior Accountant supports month-end and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, grant accounting, audits, regulatory filings, budgeting, and general ledger integrity. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, contributes to process improvements and technology enhancements, supports multiple entities and funding sources, and mentors junior accounting staff. Nonprofit accounting, financial reporting, grant management, ERP systems, and advanced Excel proficiency are important.
