Leads the West region’s multi-state fundraising strategy and revenue execution across individual, institutional, event, donor engagement, and development operations. Manages a regional development team, major donor portfolio, fundraising forecasts, pipelines, and high-value solicitations. Partners with executive leaders and advisory boards to cultivate donors, activate volunteers, and achieve annual and long-term revenue goals across California and the broader Western United States.

The Major Gifts Officer manages and grows a portfolio of major-gift donors, identifies new prospects, cultivates relationships, solicits gifts, and develops stewardship strategies. The role partners with regional and national development teams, leadership, volunteers, and board members to achieve fundraising goals. Responsibilities include donor engagement events, prospect research, moves management, relationship building, and implementing the East region’s fundraising strategy. The position is hybrid in Boston and requires travel, including occasional evening and weekend activities.

Manages a five-member development team, oversees revenue forecasting and pipelines, cultivates a portfolio of 40–50 major donors, closes significant gifts, activates advisory boards, and partners with senior leaders to achieve multi-state fundraising goals.
