Design, fabricate, assemble, commission, and troubleshoot custom manufacturing equipment for an investment casting process. Translate process requirements into mechanical systems, fixtures, guarding, material handling, and automated equipment. Produce detailed drawings with GD&T, conduct testing and technical reviews, support sourcing and build-versus-buy decisions, and improve equipment manufacturability, maintainability, throughput, and reliability.

Lead development and production readiness of high-temperature superalloy castings for aerospace applications. Own process development from melt to accepted hardware, eliminate defects, tighten process windows, develop SPC/DOE-led controls, work with simulation and equipment teams, and transition processes to stable production while interfacing with customers and stakeholders.

Develop and own solidification physics for high-temperature investment castings: predict and control mushy-zone feeding, shrinkage, porosity, and grain structure; design processes and custom foundry hardware; develop thermal/solidification simulations; perform root-cause analysis; transition processes to qualified production and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
