Designs, debugs, tests, and supports rugged embedded computing hardware from product development through production transfer. Responsibilities include digital circuit design, component-level troubleshooting, technical documentation, verification and qualification testing, requirements management, customer support, and collaboration with electrical, mechanical, PCB, software, manufacturing, and project teams. The role also guides PCB layout engineers, reviews technical work, and helps resolve complex product issues.

Provides technical customer support for rugged embedded computing products. Responsibilities include analyzing hardware and software designs, reproducing and troubleshooting customer issues, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sales, communicating resolutions, tracking repairs, identifying support trends, and maintaining support documentation. The role is onsite in Verona, Wisconsin, and requires strong communication, organization, independence, and technical problem-solving skills.

Designs and verifies rugged embedded computing hardware through 3D modeling, detailed drawings, mechanical analysis, PCB integration, FEA review, testing, and root-cause analysis. The role documents engineering decisions, collaborates with manufacturing and cross-functional teams, recommends design improvements, and mentors junior engineers. Work is performed onsite in Verona, Wisconsin.

Diagnoses and troubleshoots rugged embedded computing hardware and complex electronic assemblies to the component level. Performs electrical and functional testing, interprets schematics and assembly documentation, documents findings, analyzes failure trends, and recommends corrective actions. Collaborates with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, test procedures, and diagnostic tools.

Supports engineering product development programs by maintaining project schedules, action items, risk registers, requirements, deliverables, and phase-gate documentation. Coordinates engineering and manufacturing teams, participates in customer and internal meetings, prepares status-report content, and guides new products through requirements, design, testing, and production reviews. Also coordinates configuration updates for existing products.

Develop and execute hardware test plans and procedures for rugged embedded computing systems. Analyze test data, prepare technical reports, debug failed test items, identify design defects, maintain test equipment and software libraries, and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and manage testing resources.

Manages client quotations, sales orders, change orders, contractual requirements, schedules, and pre- and post-sale support. Builds relationships with clients, coordinates with Regional Sales Managers and internal cross-functional teams, resolves order issues, communicates product and policy updates, and ensures timely fulfillment. The role requires strong organization, communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in an onsite environment.
