Teams at Extendicare

Manage client relationships and sales for a senior living community: generate leads, maintain lead database, meet occupancy targets, coordinate tours and events, promote the residence, and collaborate with management to deliver a resident-focused sales experience.

Provide meal service and tray delivery to residents and guests, assist with food and beverage preparation, set/clear dining areas, clean dishware, maintain kitchen/dining cleanliness, support catering and special events, assist in training new dietary staff, follow health and safety and provincial regulations, participate in quality improvement, and work responsibly with vulnerable adults.

Provide resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting: assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans; administer medications; coordinate with interdisciplinary team; supervise unregulated care providers; respond to medical emergencies; support infection prevention and quality programs.
