Leads toxicology strategy and execution across biotechnology development programs. Designs, oversees, interprets, and reports exploratory, IND-enabling, and clinical-stage nonclinical safety studies. Manages CROs and external scientific partners, ensures GLP and regulatory compliance, evaluates safety risks, integrates toxicology with pharmacology and clinical data, and supports regulatory submissions and health authority interactions. Partners cross-functionally across research, clinical development, regulatory, CMC, and program management.

Provides scientific and strategic leadership for DMPK, ADME, PK, and PK-PD strategies across small-molecule discovery and development programs. Leads study design, execution, interpretation, regulatory submission content, candidate selection, and first-in-human dose projections. Partners with cross-functional teams, manages CROs and external collaborators, supports regulatory interactions, and ensures scientific rigor and data integrity. The role also helps scale DMPK capabilities within a growing biotechnology pipeline.

Supports in vitro and in vivo translational research across discovery and preclinical programs. Responsibilities include executing pharmacology experiments, maintaining cell cultures and biological samples, supporting CRO studies, analyzing and documenting data, preparing technical reports, managing laboratory inventory and timelines, and presenting findings. Depending on experience, the role may develop assays, conduct moderate-complexity analyses, mentor technical staff, and take ownership of specific methods or studies.
