Develops full-stack software and complex systems from concept through production in an agile environment. Designs architectural solutions, builds Java and Spring Boot applications, integrates APIs and databases, works with Linux and container technologies, and identifies system improvements. The role also involves troubleshooting, documentation, system integration, and potentially leading software development teams in support of government missions.

Lead the design, development, and integration of enterprise-scale ontologies, data models, distributed systems, and high-throughput pipelines supporting national security analytics. Architect cloud-native platforms using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Java, and Spring Boot; translate mission requirements into technical specifications; troubleshoot complex systems; mentor engineers; and communicate architecture to stakeholders. The role also supports semantic data frameworks, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and scalable backend services.
