Designs, develops, delivers, and maintains classroom and e-learning solutions for organizational, operational, and regulatory needs. Administers the LMS, manages learning content and records, resolves system issues, performs quality assurance and data reconciliation, monitors training effectiveness, and ensures compliance. Collaborates with IT, clinical informatics, leadership, and business partners while facilitating training for diverse adult learners and recommending process improvements.

The role facilitates performance improvement activities, evaluates care delivery issues and sentinel events, collaborates with medical and nursing leaders, and recommends changes to improve obstetrical, newborn, and pediatric outcomes.

Provides comprehensive direct nursing care to MedSurg patients, including assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, patient advocacy, education, interdisciplinary coordination, and timely communication and documentation of patient conditions and safety concerns.

Provides case management and exercise physiology services for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients. Conducts assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, monitors ECG and hemodynamic responses during exercise, adjusts exercise programs, provides home exercise guidance, coordinates referrals, and supports behavior change for cardiovascular risk reduction. Also delivers wellness and fitness services to the public and employees.

Provides comprehensive direct nursing care to perinatal patients across labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, gynecologic, and neonatal settings. Assesses patient needs, develops and evaluates care plans, educates families, advocates for patients, coordinates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and documents changes in condition. Requires Washington RN licensure or multistate license, BLS, NRP certification, and experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care.

Creates and delivers registration and scheduling training for hospital Patient Access and specialty clinic staff. Develops instructional materials, trains new hires, provides refresher courses and go-live support, audits performance against key indicators, analyzes trends, and recommends improvement plans. Provides registration and scheduling coverage as needed.

Investigates health plan denials, corrects and rebills claims, prepares and monitors payer appeals, adjusts appropriate denials, documents resolutions, coordinates with departments, identifies denial patterns, and produces quarterly reports. Requires professional billing experience, knowledge of healthcare payers and reimbursement systems, medical coding terminology, problem-solving skills, and ten-key proficiency.

Provides complex administrative support to department directors and managers, including calendar management, travel and meeting coordination, correspondence, office operations, reporting, budgeting, records management, and interdepartmental communication. Requires medical terminology, Microsoft Office proficiency, and at least two years of relevant administrative or healthcare experience.

Supports clinical research activities by organizing and verifying research data, managing study documents and committee materials, assisting with confidentiality agreements, maintaining shared drives and process maps, processing financial documents, and supporting clinical procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, and laboratory shipments.

Performs advanced general, obstetric, and vascular ultrasound examinations, including bedside and procedure-guided imaging. Evaluates patient anatomy, selects appropriate scanning approaches and transducers, assists with biopsies and related procedures, presents findings to radiologists, documents examinations, and disinfects equipment. Requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS eligibility, subsequent abdomen and vascular certifications, OB/GYN certification within two years, ultrasound scanner training, and current BLS certification.

Performs diagnostic CT examinations using ionizing radiation, operates and adjusts CT equipment, administers contrast under radiologist supervision, evaluates image quality, prepares patients, starts IVs, communicates procedures, and documents exam information in Cerner and the RIS. Requires ARRT eligibility or registration, Washington radiologic technologist licensure, CT-specific training, BLS certification, and CT registry within one year.

Performs diagnostic radiologic examinations using ionizing radiation while applying ALARA principles. Operates and adjusts radiographic equipment, selects technical exposure factors, administers contrast under physician supervision, assists with fluoroscopy and basic surgery cases, and supports urgent-care duties including patient registration, rooming, vital signs, and history-taking.

Performs diagnostic CT examinations using ionizing radiation, operates and adjusts CT scanner equipment, administers contrast under radiologist supervision, evaluates image quality, and ensures patient safety and privacy. Communicates procedures to patients, obtains histories and laboratory information, starts IVs when appropriate, schedules exams, updates records in Cerner and the RIS, and completes related administrative duties.

Provides gynecologic care within EvergreenHealth’s new GYN practice in Kirkland, Washington. The physician joins a collaborative women’s health team, works alongside a MIGS surgeon and surgical physician assistant, and contributes to the growth of the practice. Serves as a liaison between clinical departments and IT while supporting safe, efficient maternal-child health documentation and system integration.

Manages healthcare claim denials from review and triage through appeal strategy, submission, resolution, and reporting. Analyzes denial trends, communicates with payers, monitors reimbursement requirements, and collaborates with coding, case management, HIM, and clinical teams to recover reimbursement. Maintains detailed EMR documentation, validates financial outcomes, supports denial prevention, and contributes to training and process improvement.
