Teams at European Stability Mechanism (ESM)

Supports the ESM Communications team with social media content, intranet and website articles, media monitoring, press clippings, event communications, speeches, blogs, and analysis of euro-area economic policy debates. The trainee will assist with internal and external communications and should have strong English drafting skills, interest in European affairs or economics, and familiarity with digital content tools.

Supports the Corporate Governance and Internal Policies division with Board and committee meeting coordination, agendas, briefings, records, governance databases, stakeholder communication, research, benchmarking, policy development, presentations, and process-improvement initiatives. The trainee will gain practical experience in ESM governance and internal policy frameworks while contributing to daily operations and selected projects.

Supports policy notes, briefings, institutional partnerships, IMF and World Bank meeting preparation, Economic and Monetary Union analysis, research, and analytical projects within the ESM’s Policy Strategy and Institutional Relations division.
