Develop and improve steel window and door products from concept through production launch. Create designs, drawings, samples, manufacturing packages, and product references; coordinate regulatory validation and industrialization; establish tolerances; and collaborate with design, engineering, production, quality, and sales teams. The role requires analyzing technical standards, materials, manufacturing processes, and product performance while supporting innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Creates and maintains detailed mechanical designs for custom steel windows and doors. Responsibilities include reverse engineering components, building parametric 3D models, producing 2D drawings, maintaining BOMs and revisions, capturing measurements, interpreting vendor specifications, and supporting production and drafting teams. The role requires SolidWorks and 2D CAD experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects collaboratively.

Develop and maintain detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, part numbers, revisions, and drafting standards for custom steel windows and doors. Reverse engineer components from physical samples, use hand metrology tools, interpret vendor specifications, resolve discrepancies, and support manufacturing documentation. Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams while producing designs in SolidWorks and DraftSight or AutoCAD.
