Coordinates full-cycle recruiting across the organization, including sourcing, screening, interviews, candidate communications, references, offers, background checks, and onboarding handoffs. Partners with hiring managers, builds community and educational recruiting pipelines, supports employer branding, represents the organization at hiring events, tracks recruiting metrics, and improves hiring processes. The role also supports seasonal and high-volume hiring and related HR administration.

Manages and coordinates after-school childcare programs, including staff supervision, scheduling, budgeting, regulatory compliance, family communication, curriculum implementation, safety, records, and facility upkeep. Provides developmentally appropriate activities and nurturing relationships for school-age children while supporting healthy living and YMCA values. Requires ongoing childcare training, background registry enrollment, and compliance with Oregon Office of Child Care requirements.

Provides welcoming, front-facing service to YMCA members, guests, and program participants. Explains and sells memberships and programs, processes registrations, manages cash transactions, handles check-ins, and enters data using membership systems. Opens or closes facilities, monitors building usage and safety, supports cleanliness and coffee service, addresses billing concerns, and escalates unusual situations. The role also promotes volunteer opportunities, participates in training, and assists with events and other operational duties.
