Teams at ETL Systems

Performs RF testing of satellite communications components and systems using advanced electronic test equipment. Troubleshoots issues, maintains calibrated test equipment, verifies compliance with standards, documents procedures and results, and improves testing methods. Requires electronics experience, ability to interpret and create wiring diagrams, follow test procedures, document findings, and use electronic test equipment. The role is fully on-site at a manufacturing facility in Hereford and requires BPSS compliance.

Assemble compact and complex RF products across assembly and SMT production areas. Perform functional testing with specialized equipment, inspect components for defects, maintain accurate production records, and support continuous improvement. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This is an on-site position in Hereford, with previous electronics or production experience desirable but not essential.

Lead the architecture, development, verification, synthesis, timing closure, hardware validation, and integration of FPGA-based digital IF and signal-processing solutions. Develop maintainable HDL, improve Linux-based toolchains and automation, collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and test teams, and mentor junior engineers. The role supports ETL’s digital RF and satellite communications product portfolio while driving technical innovation and continuous improvement.
