Reads electricity meters and records data using handheld devices. Performs safe electricity supplier disconnections and reconnections, reports suspected electricity misappropriation and meter or access issues, and maintains customer relations. Drives and cleans meter-reading vehicles, completes vehicle logs, accesses computer systems, and downloads vehicle monitoring information. Requires Grade 12, a valid motor vehicle license, computer literacy, and one year of relevant experience.

Manages eThekwini Municipality’s Graphic Design Service, including staff, design projects, corporate identity, branding guidance, operating procedures, archives, budgets, and project delivery. Plans section activities, assesses performance, oversees expenditure, and ensures effective service delivery across municipal directorates. Requires a Graphic Design diploma, driving license, and four years of relevant experience, including two years in a supervisory role.

Conducts employee training across the municipality, including implementing training needs, developing and updating manuals and learning materials, delivering classroom courses, customizing content, assessing learners, evaluating training effectiveness, maintaining safe training-center conditions, and providing post-course follow-up. The role requires collaboration with directorates and supports learning and development initiatives for employees at all levels.
