Develop and extend Java and Spring Boot backend services, implement features from design through testing, integrate APIs and databases, and support cloud deployment, operations, and monitoring. The role requires DevOps expertise with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability, and AI-assisted coding. Remote work is possible, with an onsite onboarding day and occasional office presence in St. Gallen.

Design and implement the data model, technical architecture, and security concept for an internal AI environment. Develop LLM-based document processing and news-monitoring automations, translate business objectives into technical priorities, and create a realistic implementation roadmap. Collaborate with management and an external IT provider while ensuring secure handling of sensitive data and effective Linux-based AI infrastructure.

Manage procurement, order planning, supplier relationships, raw-material purchasing, inventory, warehouse coordination, and ERP data maintenance. The role includes product costing, performance reporting, supply-chain digitalization, and coordination with management, sales, production, service providers, and suppliers. It also supports sales, complaints, and production hiring while gradually assuming broader responsibility during a structured transition.
