The Director of Operations Engineering will oversee technical integration, performance, and reliability of battery energy storage systems, leading teams and managing collaborations to ensure operational excellence.

Provide senior legal counsel across utility-scale BESS project lifecycle including origination, site control, permitting, interconnection, commercial contracting, project finance, M&A, and regulatory matters. Lead transactions, manage outside counsel, supervise junior lawyers, develop legal playbooks, and advise C-suite, lenders, and counterparties to support project financing and portfolio growth.

Establish and lead esVolta's market risk control function: design frameworks, monitor trading exposures, set limits, oversee P&L attribution, implement automated tools (Python/SQL), manage counterparty and operational risk, and report risk and compliance to senior leadership and the Market Risk Committee.
