Drive process improvements, develop BOMs and manufacturing methods, create shop drawings, support daily operations and quality, manage new-product projects, and evaluate manufacturing technologies in a precision CNC and sheet-metal aerospace/defense environment.

Quality Engineer responsible for maintaining customer, industry, and AS9100 quality compliance in a precision manufacturing environment. Duties include managing calibration, conducting audits, reviewing test results and nonconformances, supporting corrective actions, tracking quality metrics, training personnel, and leading Lean continuous improvement. The role requires manufacturing and quality experience, engineering or technical education, blueprint interpretation, measurement tools, root cause analysis, SPC, and effective cross-functional communication. Aerospace, NADCAP, AS9100 auditing, Lean Six Sigma, and CMM experience are preferred.

Organizes and releases production documents, reviews ERP schedules and material inventory, coordinates material receipts, verifies engineering and customer documentation, supports production planning reports, maintains revision-controlled files, and performs reception and visitor-log duties. The role also serves as backup for production scheduling and provides ad hoc production support.

Sets up and operates multiple CNC mills and lathes, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment. Maintains dimensional accuracy using precision measurement tools, adjusts feeds, speeds, tooling, and machine controls, and performs basic G-code and M-code edits. Reads GD&T, manages tooling and fixture inventory, supports setup standardization, troubleshoots machine issues, and helps execute production schedules with minimal supervision.

Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision aerospace parts. Responsibilities include setting up tools, fixtures, and workpieces; adjusting feeds, speeds, tooling, and machine controls; maintaining dimensional accuracy with precision measuring instruments; interpreting GD&T; and making basic program edits. The role requires experience with multiple CNC machine types, controllers, inspection tools, and machining materials, along with a high school diploma or GED and strong teamwork and quality focus.
