Plans and optimizes pellet plant production and maintenance activities to meet operational, safety, environmental, and cost targets. Responsibilities include developing schedules, coordinating engineering and maintenance teams, allocating manpower and materials, analyzing performance data, preparing management reports, resolving operational issues, and leading process-improvement initiatives. The role requires regular plant fieldwork along with computer and desk work.

Supports full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding. Maintains recruiting and employee records, responds to routine HR inquiries, assists with benefits and employee lifecycle processes, supports HR communications and reporting, and contributes to employee engagement and special projects. Works closely with hiring managers and the CHRO while maintaining confidentiality and managing multiple priorities.

Design, review, and support implementation of plant electrical power systems including utility interconnection, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection, and distribution. Perform and validate power system studies, evaluate vendor proposals, support construction, commissioning, FAT/SAT, energization, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
