Provides data entry, audio recording processing, file uploads and downloads, stakeholder communication, transcript workflow support, and general office administration. The role requires strong English writing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, organization, multitasking, and proficiency with common computer programs. It is a full-time, on-site position in Billinge, Monday through Friday, with occasional support for other teams and transcript processing during afternoons.

Perform legal transcription remotely under a federal contract. Responsibilities require accurately transcribing audio while maintaining excellent grammar, punctuation, listening, and comprehension standards. Contractors must complete at least 200 audio minutes weekly, submit timely invoices, and maintain reliable equipment and internet access. The role requires U.S. citizenship, identity documentation, two years of transcription experience, a minimum typing speed of 55 words per minute, and willingness to undergo a Public Trust background investigation.

As a Legal Scopist, your responsibilities will include transcribing legal documents, scoping materials for readability, meeting deadlines, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with team members to ensure quality work.
