The After-School Program Assistant ensures safe supervision and leads engaging activities for children, supports parental communication, and complies with licensing regulations.

Provide classroom coaching, modeling, and curriculum support for Head Start/Early Head Start teachers. Conduct observations, mentor teachers, implement adopted coaching model and curriculum with fidelity, support assessment data use, monitor lesson plans and portfolios, lead trainings, and evaluate classrooms using CLASS, ITERS, and ECERS to improve child outcomes and teacher practices.

The Special Needs Assistant provides individualized classroom support for children with special needs, assists teachers, and maintains a supportive environment. Responsibilities include engaging children, assessing progress, and maintaining communication with families while ensuring safety and hygiene.
