Prepares and reviews complex corporate, partnership, expatriate, and individual tax returns; researches tax laws; conducts audits; develops transfer pricing analyses and tax provisions; consults with clients; and supervises Staff accountants and Interns. The role also manages multiple engagements, maintains client relationships, supports business development, and provides training and performance input.

Manages corporate and individual tax engagements, including tax returns, provisions, transfer pricing, tax research, audits, and client consultations. Serves as the primary client contact, develops tax strategies, manages deadlines and budgets, and reviews complex tax work. Leads client meetings, trains and coaches staff, evaluates performance, monitors technology use, and identifies opportunities for additional services. Requires accounting education, CPA or EA licensure, five years of public accounting tax experience, and business-level English and Japanese proficiency.

Performs audit and attestation work, including reviewing client financial information, preparing working papers, analyzing audit plans, and assisting with financial statement preparation. The role identifies accounting and engagement issues, advises engagement leaders, responds to client questions, manages multiple engagements, and develops accounting and auditing expertise while maintaining professional client relationships.
