The Plant Controller oversees plant accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, inventory, fixed assets, capital projects, procurement controls, tax filings, and SOX compliance. The role provides financial analysis, operational KPIs, decision support, and leadership for accounting staff while ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to policies and safety requirements in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Supports process improvement, equipment reliability, data collection and analysis, maintenance tracking, root cause analysis, corrective actions, documentation, spare-parts organization, troubleshooting, and plant safety activities at a wood-pellet manufacturing facility. The intern gains hands-on exposure to process engineering, operations, maintenance, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, capital projects, and industrial systems.

Supports process improvement, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, maintenance data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective actions, spare-parts tracking, documentation, and plant safety initiatives at a wood pellet manufacturing facility. Works alongside engineers and operations leaders while gaining hands-on experience with manufacturing systems, lean principles, continuous improvement, and equipment performance.
