Teams at Environmental Working Group

Conduct policy-relevant research on paraquat's neurological harms using literature review and large datasets; perform scientific analyses, author reports and peer-reviewed papers, support EWG databases, and translate findings into policy, advocacy, media, and public outreach. Represent EWG at events and provide scientific expertise.

Develop and execute human-centered digital content strategies across email, social, SMS and web; translate complex science and policy into engaging narratives; own email content, partner with social, use AI tools for ideation and optimization, analyze audience performance to refine messaging, and manage community voice and cross-functional collaboration.

Lead toxicological hazard and risk evaluations for consumer product chemicals to support EWG Verified certification. Coordinate cross-functional scientific workgroups, set public health-based standards, research testing methodologies, implement scalable workflows, develop consumer education, and represent EWG in public and professional forums. Use GHS criteria, read-across, predictive modeling and AI to address data gaps and ensure rigorous, science-based decisions.
