Leads commercial development and launch of a new container terminal by attracting ocean carriers, cargo owners, and logistics partners. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing pipelines, conducting market research, preparing proposals, supporting negotiations, analyzing business cases, building transportation partnerships, and coordinating customer onboarding with operations. The role requires strong maritime and logistics industry relationships, commercial judgment, analytical ability, communication skills, and travel for customer meetings and industry events.

Develops financial models, budgets, forecasts, reporting packages, variance analyses, and business cases. Partners with operational teams to track KPIs, improve financial controls, and support strategic decisions across Wilmington and other terminals. Performs cost-benefit analyses, reforecasts, data quality improvements, and ad hoc financial projects in a logistics and port operations environment.

Manage daily operations for bulk and bagging warehouses supporting maritime cargo. Responsibilities include supervising staff, overseeing inventory and cargo flow, coordinating with ports, trucking, rail, and vendors, enforcing safety and environmental compliance, maintaining equipment, improving efficiency, preparing performance reports, and supporting budgeting and cost control.
