Set up, edit programs, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce high-precision hydro turbine components. Read blueprints and geometric tolerances, select tooling, adjust feeds and speeds, monitor machine performance, inspect parts, and maintain safety and quality standards. The role includes operating large vertical and horizontal boring mills, correcting machining issues, cleaning work areas, and coordinating with engineering, production, and supervisors.

Develop, modify, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for lathes and mills. Interpret blueprints and design specifications, select tooling and fixtures, set up machines, adjust toolpaths and cutting parameters, verify program accuracy, maintain tooling documentation, and collaborate with engineers, machinists, and vendors to support efficient, high-quality production.

Lay out, assemble, tack-weld and fit flat and formed plate components for hydro turbines and pumps using engineering drawings. Perform measuring, grinding, forming (hot/cold), and assemble complex assemblies with direction. Operate cranes (up to 25 tons), mount weldments, implement Lean ideas, and maintain safety and housekeeping.
