Sets up, edits programs, operates, and maintains large CNC machines, including vertical and horizontal boring mills, to produce high-precision hydro turbine components. Reads blueprints and geometric tolerances, selects tooling, adjusts feeds and speeds, monitors cutter condition, inspects finished parts, and maintains quality, safety, productivity, and schedule standards.

Fabricates and assembles flat and formed plate components for hydro turbines and pumps. Reads blueprints, measures parts, performs tack welding, grinding, forming, fit-up, painting, and crane-assisted lifting. Operates fabrication work cells, supports complex turbine and pump assemblies, performs quality checks, maintains a safe and orderly work area, and contributes to Lean or Operational Excellence initiatives.
