The Accounting Manager oversees monthly and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, AP, AR, cash forecasting, fixed assets, and financial reporting. The role ensures GAAP compliance, maintains internal controls, coordinates audits and tax preparation, supervises two accounting staff, analyzes variances, supports budgeting and forecasting, and improves accounting processes through workflow automation and ERP optimization.

Provides customer service to PATH riders and staff through phone, email, and other channels. Registers fare cards, processes replacements, refunds, web orders, and transaction investigations, troubleshoots ticket vending machine and PCPS issues, maintains records and spreadsheets, and escalates incomplete transactions. This is a four-month temporary assignment requiring high-volume call center experience, strong communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Execute software and hardware test cases, document results, identify defects, develop test scripts, and support troubleshooting across PATH revenue and payment systems. The role produces reports, coordinates vendor repairs, evaluates system functionality, and collaborates with engineers and maintenance teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Work occurs across PATH facilities and requires rotating shifts, physical activity, holiday availability, and overtime.
