Teams at Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi)

Assists with field investigations of electrical systems and equipment failures, performs engineering analyses using applicable codes and standards, prepares technical reports, supports litigation and client presentations, and develops expertise in forensic consulting. The role involves office and field work, occasional travel, continuing education, and potential future testimony.

Supports forensic engineering and safety investigations through field inspections, engineering research, data collection, laboratory testing, evidence analysis, and technical report preparation. The intern assists consultants with client meetings and technical reviews, working in office, laboratory, construction, industrial, and damaged-structure environments. Field work may require travel, physical activity, PPE, and operation of specialized tools and equipment.

Conduct forensic metallurgical failure analyses for industrial, insurance, and litigation matters. Perform materials testing and microscopy, direct laboratory staff, prepare technical reports, advise clients and project teams, coordinate project schedules and budgets, and potentially testify as an expert witness. The role involves office and field work in industrial, construction, and damaged-structure environments, with travel as required.
