Owns final technical authority for US spacecraft programs, including system architecture, mission-specific customization, payload integration, technical risk, milestone reviews, and cross-disciplinary engineering standards. Builds and leads the US engineering organization, aligns US and European teams, develops reusable spacecraft capabilities, and represents technical solutions to sophisticated commercial, civil, and defense customers. The role is primarily on-site in Los Angeles with travel to customers and European headquarters.

Designs and oversees satellite, ground-segment, and user-device systems from requirements through deployment. Translates stakeholder and payload needs into system architectures and subsystem specifications, coordinates hardware and software engineering teams, manages technical requirements, performs performance modeling and end-to-end validation, and develops satellite payload software. The role also supports test procedure development, system integration, and compliance with aerospace standards.

Supports sales and after-sales activities for customized aerospace electronics and mechanics solutions. Coordinates with engineering, software, mechanical, procurement, and sales teams; translates client requirements into technical solutions; provides technical expertise; negotiates solutions; maintains customer relationships; and ensures specifications align with delivered products. The role requires technical sales experience, electronics knowledge, CRM familiarity, Jira and Confluence experience, and strong English communication skills.
