Owns policy, permitting, environmental, and external-affairs workstreams for subsea geothermal energy projects. Responsibilities include tracking legislation and agency actions, drafting regulatory materials, supporting NEPA and permitting processes, coordinating technical contributors, managing consultants and counsel, preparing executives for stakeholder engagements, pursuing government funding, and representing the company in Washington. The role requires regular travel to Seattle and periodic travel to international deployment sites.

Build and maintain test infrastructure for subsea geothermal systems: design HITL/SITL simulations, automated test frameworks, DAQ/PLC/VFD integration, data acquisition and visualization, and hands-on lab validation. Partner with cross-disciplinary engineers to scale test systems from component rigs to full system validation and help shape the growing test infrastructure team.
