The Data Steward monitors and resolves issues with accounting and insurance policy systems, ensuring data quality and compliance with statutory principles. Responsibilities include reconciliations, reporting, and assisting in month-end closes.

Lead full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition strategy for Encova Insurance. Partner with leaders to build pipelines, employer branding, and selection processes; manage ATS, metrics, external partners, intern program, and recruiter mentoring. Deliver data-driven sourcing (including LinkedIn), candidate experience, offers, and background checks while occasionally traveling to campuses and offices.

Serve as liaison between business and IT to gather and document requirements, translate needs into functional specifications, support SDLC and QA testing, validate incidents and propose workarounds, and assist project managers on small projects. Act as SME for at least one product discipline (e.g., claims), execute test cases, and support production issue resolution.
