Provides IT acquisition support for the Department of State, including market research, alternatives evaluation, procurement package preparation, specifications, statements of work, cost estimates, documentation, entitlement and warranty tracking, and coordination with acquisition managers. Supports procurement of hardware and software while managing provider configurations, purchasing constraints, contractual artifacts, and package status. Requires a Secret clearance, IT-related bachelor’s degree, five or more years of experience, and occasional travel.

Develops, tests, maintains, and supports enterprise disaster recovery and continuity-of-operations programs for hybrid cloud and global IT infrastructure. Ensures high availability and resiliency for Department of State services, manages redundancy and failover, documents DR plans, conducts testing, and maintains compliance with NIST SP 800-34, FISMA, and customer standards. The role requires supporting critical services for embassies, consulates, passport agencies, and visa processing centers, with up to 25% travel.

Provides on-site systems administration for Department of State offices. Installs, maintains, monitors, and secures servers, network devices, workstations, applications, databases, and virtualization environments. Manages patches, user accounts, backups, upgrades, configuration changes, incidents, service requests, system performance, technical documentation, and security compliance. Coordinates with the SA lead and supports testing, equipment retirement, and customer IT operations.
