Supports veterinarians and veterinary technicians by admitting and discharging patients, restraining pets, assisting with diagnostics, performing in-house blood work, maintaining treatment areas, disinfecting cages, laundering bedding, answering calls, and supporting hospital operations. The role requires handling pets weighing at least 50 pounds and includes cross-training opportunities in nursing skills and other hospital functions.

Provides hands-on care for kennel and veterinary patients, including animal handling, walking, feeding, medication administration, bathing, grooming, cleaning, and supply organization. Supports patient care while maintaining a safe, sanitary clinic environment. Requires strong communication, patience, teamwork, task prioritization, and the ability to lift and restrain pets weighing at least 40 pounds. Prior veterinary clinical experience is preferred.
