Lead EMC's Public Entity segment as the enterprise underwriting expert: set segment strategy, manage portfolio performance and P&L, advise on complex underwriting risks, develop product enhancements and policy language, partner with claims/actuarial/risk teams, deliver training, and represent EMC in industry forums to drive profitable growth.

Review and process mailed premium audit documents to calculate earned premium using manual rules and state regulations. Communicate results and disputes with agents, insureds, and internal teams; provide administrative support to field audit team; investigate payroll/classification discrepancies and escalate as needed.

Design and build scalable full-stack and cloud-native applications (primarily Python). Develop back-end services, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform-based infrastructure. Partner with DBAs on SQL Server schema, stored procedures, SSRS/SSIS. Monitor production, troubleshoot incidents, improve reliability and performance, lead LifePRO application support, write tests and documentation, use AI coding assistants, and collaborate with product, QA, and engineering on architecture and deployments.
