The role also involves simplifying data-rich workflows, applying AI thoughtfully in design, and delivering evidence-based, inclusive experiences.

Design, develop, test, document, and maintain software modules and scalable workflows for the UniProt data production pipeline. Support data imports, processing algorithms, resource releases, and big data initiatives while collaborating with Ensembl and interdisciplinary teams. Promote programming standards, maintain production services, and deliver reliable software under tight deadlines.
