Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organisational goals across research and technical teams. Provide employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, HR analytics, compliance with UK employment law, change management, and DE&I initiatives to support a high-performing, regulated life-sciences environment.

Develop, validate and improve reproducible bioinformatics workflows to analyse whole-genome and metagenomic sequencing data (QC, assembly, taxonomic classification, AMR prediction, variant and strain characterisation); interpret complex datasets addressing contamination and low-biomass issues; write and review reproducible scripts/pipelines; collaborate with wet-lab scientists; stay current with infectious disease genomics and suggest workflow improvements.

Provide administrative support to the Talent Team including interview scheduling, candidate communication, job postings, onboarding and right-to-work checks. Maintain ATS and recruitment data in compliance with GDPR, greet candidates, and assist with recruitment events to promote the employer brand during a 12-month maternity cover fixed-term contract.
