Supports the Supply Chain Management department through projects involving spend analysis, inventory optimization, standardized RFQ packages, Blanket Purchase Orders, automated supplier releases, Approved Vendor List lead-time maintenance, and inventory transfer strategies. The intern will gain hands-on experience through individual and team projects, leadership exposure, customer meetings, and job shadowing. This is a full-time, on-site twelve-week internship at the Jeannette, Pennsylvania headquarters.

Leads technical and commercial applications for centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, expanders, pumps, and auxiliary systems. Evaluates inquiries, sizes equipment, develops engineered-to-order proposals, defines scope, estimates costs, manages vendor specifications, supports sales negotiations, and transfers awarded projects to execution teams. Provides ongoing engineering guidance, improves design automation and workflows, conducts market and competitor analysis, and presents technical solutions to EPCs and end users. Requires extensive turbomachinery, mechanical, thermodynamic, rotordynamic, and techno-commercial expertise.

Performs revenue recognition, WIP reconciliations, cost accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, commission processing, banking controls, month-end close, compliance, and audit support. Collaborates with entities, repairs operations, and regional finance leaders to ensure accurate intercompany accounting, reporting, and internal controls under IFRS, local GAAP, and J-SOX standards.
