Farm interns gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, horticulture, and nonprofit work. Responsibilities include planting, watering, weeding, maintaining and harvesting crops, preparing garden beds, supporting soil health, using hand tools, assisting seasonal projects and volunteer workdays, and participating in educational or community activities. Interns must be dependable, commit at least 10 hours weekly, follow directions, work independently and collaboratively, and perform physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds.
