Lead and grow a founding middle school by providing instructional and cultural leadership, coaching teachers, managing operations and budget, ensuring compliance, engaging families and community partners, and advancing equity for young men of color.

Lead restorative, inclusive student behavior systems, SEL programming, and community-building at a middle school. Oversee culture operations, data-informed interventions, teacher coaching, professional development, and school-wide rituals to promote safety, belonging, and high expectations. Partner with families, counselors, and leadership to align culture with instructional priorities and ensure consistent supports, record-keeping, and continuous improvement.

Lead launch of an IB MYP middle school: set vision and school culture, ensure IB-aligned, inquiry-driven instruction, develop curriculum and assessment, recruit and coach staff, design operations and systems, manage budget and compliance, and build family and community partnerships focused on equity and multilingual learners.

Provide classroom and student support by assisting teachers with lesson prep, supervising arrival/lunch/recess/transitions, tutoring and small-group instruction, maintaining records and materials, supporting school events and communications, and contributing to schoolwide routines, community-building, and special projects to foster a safe, equitable, and joyful learning environment.

Lead instructional vision and execution for grades 5-8: coach teachers, refine curriculum, run data-driven cycles, design professional development, ensure compliance with CT standards, and build scalable academic systems during the school's founding years.

Lead design, implementation, and stewardship of the IB Middle Years Programme, coach teachers, develop curriculum and assessments, manage IB authorization processes, teach 1-2 classes, build systems for a founding school, engage families and community, and guide future DP expansion.
