Teams at Element Materials Technology

Supports and improves the quality management system for aerospace materials testing and calibration operations. Responsibilities include in-house and external equipment calibration, accreditation maintenance, QMS implementation, audits, proficiency testing, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and regulatory assessment support. The role collaborates with customers, accreditation bodies, aerospace primes, operational teams, and quality organizations to improve compliance, accuracy, laboratory processes, and quality assurance.

Leads complex engineering testing initiatives, technology development programs, and cross-disciplinary projects across Element laboratories and enterprise teams. Provides technical leadership, prioritizes testing opportunities, communicates complex concepts to varied audiences, disseminates testing knowledge, performs autonomous testing, and guides technicians and engineers. The role requires deep expertise in an engineering discipline, specialist knowledge, technology leadership, and at least 10 years of relevant post-degree experience.

Leads custom and standardized microbiological testing, antimicrobial efficacy programs, medical device cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization validations. Performs sterility, bioburden, endotoxin, microbial limits, environmental monitoring, and method validation activities in cGLP and ISO 17025 environments. Reviews data and reports, supports R&D and regulatory compliance, troubleshoots technical issues, collaborates with clients, and mentors laboratory staff.
