Lead the design, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable cloud-native systems across AWS and Azure. Develop and execute digital communications for NOAA-focused weather prediction modernization programs. Responsibilities include social media strategy, multimedia content creation, newsletters, web stories, presentations, graphics, infographics, video, stakeholder engagement, community feedback, branding, quality control, and reporting. The role translates complex scientific and technical information into accessible content for diverse audiences while coordinating outreach, education, events, software releases, and technical milestones.

Lead design, implementation, and operation of secure, scalable cloud-native solutions (primarily AWS/Azure). Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, monitoring, and data infrastructure. Collaborate with security teams, define DevOps best practices, and support operational systems including cloud networking, storage, and performance tradeoffs. Support customers across multiple projects and ensure NOAA badge eligibility for contract work.

The software engineer will support federal clients by developing geospatial data processing tools, participating in the software development lifecycle, and improving code quality through collaboration and best practices.
