Teams at Electronic Theatre Controls

Provides basic technical customer support by phone, email, and chat; tracks cases, documents interactions, processes replacement and order requests, coordinates repairs, prepares RMA paperwork, and escalates complex issues. Works with customers, repair technicians, and internal specialists while maintaining professional communication and accurate service records. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required.

Supports optical fixture setup and testing, product development, design improvements, test and verification procedure development, engineering maintenance, manufacturing floor support, and task estimation. The intern must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in optical engineering or a related field, be a junior or senior or have relevant coursework, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and work on-site in Middleton, Wisconsin.

Designs, tests, and supports custom rigging and control systems for international projects. Responsibilities include developing electrical designs, bills of material, test procedures, software configurations, technical documentation, manufacturing support, customer assistance, troubleshooting, and employee training. The role collaborates with project management, manufacturing, technical services, customers, and R&D while supporting product development and engineering improvements.
