The RN Educator leads nurse and CNA orientation, clinical education, competency validation, certifications, in-service training, employee development, and regulatory readiness. The role also provides direct resident care as a cart nurse, including medication and treatment administration, assessment, documentation, care coordination, and responding to condition changes. Additional duties include maintaining education records, supporting emergency preparedness, employee health activities, and serving as an electronic medical record resource.

Supervise nursing operations and staff across assigned shifts in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. Provide clinical guidance, monitor resident conditions, support admissions and care planning, coordinate staffing, ensure safe medication and treatment delivery, and promote regulatory compliance. The role also supports infection prevention, incident response, survey readiness, QAPI initiatives, documentation, coaching, and interdisciplinary communication while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

The Assistant Director of Nursing supports the Director of Nursing by overseeing daily nursing operations, supervising and developing staff, maintaining 24-hour coverage, coordinating resident care, monitoring medications and treatments, leading infection control, supporting audits and quality improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role provides direct nursing care as needed and assumes DON responsibilities during absences.
