Teams at Ekumen

Own BSP integration testing for Linux-based embedded VPUs. Run Python test suites on real hardware and HIL infrastructure, validate BSP releases, troubleshoot kernel, driver, and user-space issues, and modify Linux sensor and kernel drivers. Track defects, translate platform needs into requirements and tests, collaborate across BSP and platform teams, and recommend priorities.

Develop robotic software solutions involving navigation, localization, fleet management, mission planning, control, manipulators, computer vision, simulation, and testing. Collaborate with global teams, contribute to architecture and implementation, mentor peers, participate in technical discussions, and support open-source development. The role requires strong ROS or ROS 2, modern C++, Python, Docker, VSLAM, and AI computer vision experience.

Develop and test a full robotics stack for automated guided vehicles, including simulation, navigation, localization, perception, behaviors, and tooling. Tune systems on physical robots, troubleshoot hardware, networking, and electronics issues, and collaborate with fleet management and client R&D teams. The role is based on-site in Munich three days per week and includes occasional deployment travel, with potential future team leadership responsibilities.
