Provides basic nursing care within LVN scope of practice, supports RNs and physicians with patient assessments, diagnostic testing, documentation, supplies, discharge instructions, callbacks, and patient communication. Maintains accurate records, supports patient flow, organizes work areas, and delivers empathetic care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. The role is per diem on a day shift in Radiology Main and requires California LVN licensure, BLS certification, and department-specific certifications as applicable.

Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations across neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Obtains medical histories, prepares patients, follows imaging protocols, produces high-quality sonographic images, documents exams in PACS and Epic, enters charges, maintains equipment and rooms, and assists radiologists and nurses with ultrasound-guided procedures. Communicates findings and procedure information clearly while maintaining patient safety, sterile technique, and compliance with department policies.

Performs, verifies, and reports clinical laboratory tests across microbiology, immunology, and transfusion services. Evaluates specimen suitability, performs quality control, instrument calibration, validation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and ensures accurate patient results. Supervises and verifies non-licensed personnel, maintains safety and compliance standards, manages supplies and documentation, and supports training for students and laboratory staff. Uses laboratory information systems and assists with workflow management and turnaround-time optimization.
