Leads Egis’s rail business in Ireland, overseeing strategy, growth, client relationships, commercial performance, bids, frameworks, project delivery, governance, and team development. The role manages revenue, margins, budgets, opportunities, stakeholder engagement, contract performance, and multidisciplinary capability across Irish, UK, and international resources. It also provides senior oversight of major rail commissions and supports safe, high-quality, sustainable delivery.

Owns direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple legal entities, including VAT returns, corporation tax computations, tax provisions, cash tax monitoring, transfer pricing support, authority correspondence, reconciliations, and compliance calendars. The role bridges statutory and management reporting, ensures filing deadlines and Making Tax Digital compliance, and improves tax processes through standardization and automation. It requires strong accounting, reconciliation, Excel, communication, and multi-entity tax experience.

The Mechanical Engineer will apply mechanical engineering methodologies to projects, analyze and optimize processes, support product design, conduct technical analyses, prepare reports, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to project planning and continuous improvement. The role requires collaboration across teams, adherence to quality and timelines, and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
