Lead Edge Growth Solutions’ Operations, Data and Digital functions while scaling the business sustainably. Responsibilities include designing the operating model, improving productivity and margins, managing operational risk and vendors, establishing data strategy and governance, overseeing reporting and analytics, managing digital platforms, and applying automation and AI. The COO will also build high-performing teams, support commercial strategy, partner with the CEO, and lead organizational change.

Lead and own strategy, performance and governance of a multi-investor, multi-asset fund. Oversee deal origination, execution, portfolio management, investor relations, compliance and team leadership to deliver financial and impact objectives, drive value creation and optimise fund operations.

Lead and support SME debt investments across origination, screening, due diligence, structuring, negotiation and closing. Manage pipelines, conduct financial modelling and credit analysis, present deals to Investment Committee, support investor relations, and coach junior team members. Ensure strong project management, post-investment monitoring, credit control and recovery where needed.

Lead end-to-end design, delivery and renewal of SME programmes with a product-strategy lens. Own client and stakeholder relationships, manage programme teams, budgets, M&E, and drive product/IP innovation and annuity revenue. Ensure on-the-ground presence in North West Province and quality delivery across the programme lifecycle.

Lead and support SME investments across debt, mezzanine and equity: originate and screen deals, run due diligence, financial modelling, structure and negotiate transactions, manage closings and post-investment value creation, and mentor junior team members.

Manage and grow a portfolio of impact investments through hands-on post-investment oversight. Deliver financial analysis and modelling, strategy development, execution management, growth support, fundraising assistance, governance, legal/compliance oversight, and portfolio reporting. Prepare follow-on funding proposals, drive portfolio value creation and scorecard targets, and lead special value-unlocking projects including restructures and turnarounds.
