Leads the day-to-day accounting function, owning month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, general ledger activities, reconciliations, consolidations, and internal controls. Manages and develops the accounting team, improves accounting processes, supports audits and tax requirements, and partners with leadership on financial results, risks, and accounting matters. The role also helps optimize Odoo and other accounting systems.

The GL Accountant supports month-end and year-end close, prepares journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, and maintains accurate general ledger activity across multiple entities. Responsibilities include intercompany and foreign currency accounting, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, financial reporting, audit support, and process improvements. The role partners with AP, AR, accounting teams, and business leaders to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate, timely financial information.

Manage AR/AP operations including customer collections, cash application, invoicing (including EDI), vendor payments, reconciliations, and month-end close support. Maintain financial records in Odoo, respond to customer/vendor inquiries, and provide administrative support.
