Teams at EDF Trading

Develop and support enterprise quantitative engineering platforms for energy trading risk, positions, and valuations. Build scalable backend services, APIs, desktop tools, and cloud-based solutions; integrate quantitative models; improve architecture, performance, testing, and deployment processes; and provide production support. Partner closely with traders, front-office users, quantitative developers, and analytics teams to gather requirements, resolve complex issues, and deliver reliable technology solutions in a fast-paced trading environment.

Analyze short-term wholesale power markets, support price forecasting and trading strategies, monitor EDF portfolio optimization, and communicate time-critical risk information. Develop and maintain optimization models, data science applications, automated workflows, visualizations, and web tools. Improve application robustness through testing and refactoring, participate in peer reviews, train junior analysts, and collaborate with traders, asset managers, and international analytical teams while ensuring REMIT compliance.

Supports global total reward strategy, annual compensation cycles, salary benchmarking, benefits analysis, pay equity, workforce planning, and HR reporting. Uses Workday, Excel, SAP, Power BI, and other analytics tools to produce insights, improve data accuracy, automate processes, and support reward and HR projects. Advises HR teams and business stakeholders while contributing to policy development, process improvement, and employee experience initiatives.
