The role requires hands-on AWS cloud-native delivery and expertise in large-scale data architectures, analytics, data management, and AI technologies.

Develop and maintain data pipelines for GEOINT datasets, transform and standardize data for machine learning environments, assist with data service development, document workflows, analyze data, and support data quality. Collaborate with senior engineers and scientists on Department of War artificial intelligence initiatives while communicating findings and adapting to changing priorities.

Summer 2027 software engineering internship supporting AI/ML, big data, and cloud projects. The intern will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project managers to develop, integrate, and deploy production-grade solutions in an agile, mission-oriented environment. Responsibilities include working with real-world datasets, enterprise-scale systems, multiple software components, and operational end users.
