Jobs at Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath)

Supports the People & Culture team across recruitment, onboarding, training, employee engagement, benefits, HR systems, records management, reporting, and special projects. Responsibilities include coordinating interviews and training, maintaining HR resources and employee data, updating benefits information, supporting employee communications, researching HR practices, and improving processes. This is a part-time unpaid hybrid internship from January through May 2027.

Leads EMPath’s comprehensive fundraising strategy, revenue growth, major gift solicitation, institutional partnerships, planned and monthly giving programs, donor stewardship, and fundraising events. Manages a small development team, oversees grant writing and donor communications, cultivates relationships with major individual and institutional donors, and partners with executive leadership and the board to achieve philanthropic goals.

Support EMPath’s Strategic Communications team through content creation, storytelling, social media engagement, media research, public relations, event communications, and digital asset organization. The intern will write and edit content, develop human-interest stories, track media coverage, assist with campaigns, and gain hands-on nonprofit communications experience in a hybrid Boston setting.
